Swim Together is our entry to the Brackeys Game Jam 2021-1.
Explore an immersive underwater world filled with life and evolve your way through the different fish stages!
Swim Together is a 2D simulation and exploration game set in an underwater world where the objective is to find similar fish and have them join your shoal. (shoal = school of fish). When your shoal grows you can evolve into new, stronger species.
How does it fit the Jam?
We wanted something that is easy to pickup and relaxing to play while capturing the theme of the jam, "Stronger together". In nature, fish create shoals (schools of fish), to scare away predators. They do this by forming beautiful natural patterns with many of the same kind, effectively, they Swim Together.

IDK why, but this game's artstyle and gameplay really makes me happy and want a 3D version of this. Really quite nice though!
